Job summary

You are a motivated, inquisitive and passionate cook with a decent hospitality / hotel training. You have a passion for cooking, the necessary product knowledge and you are flexible. In addition to cooking, you are also responsible for all administrative tasks in your kitchen. You have a good knowledge of HACCP. 


Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Compliance with working procedures, hygiene and food safety rules
  • Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
  • Check deliveries
  • Check the quality of ingredients
  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Prepare the planning of the kitchen according to occupation and events
  • Knowledge of the different types of cooking techniques and methods of preparation
  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
  • Maintenance of the equipment in the kitchen and reporting in the event of a defect
  • Ensure continuity of the kitchen
